What is the Registration Process for the BMAT?

You must register through the Exam Officer at your test centre, which is most likely to be your school. Upon registration, the Exam Officer will provide you with a candidate entry number.

During the registration process, you will need to provide the following information:

  • Name, gender, date of birth and UCAS number
  • Name of universities and courses you are applying to, including the course code
  • If applicable, access arrangements request with supporting evidence

Please note that you cannot register directly for the BMAT.

My School Is Not Registered as a BMAT Test Centre

If your school is not registered as an Admissions Testing centre, you can take your test at another authorised test centre.

Alternatively, your school can apply to become a test centre. The deadline for this application is 30th September.

Any Other Information That I Should Note?

The BMAT will be held on 4th November at your chosen test centre. Note: it will be computer-based unless you will be applying for admission in Thailand or Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in Singapore.

Your test centre will advise you whether they will provide a computer for you or you will need to bring your own laptop.
