When Is UCAT 2021?

Make sure to write these dates in your diary or on your calendar and avoid missing out on the important dates.

‍Registration opens Wednesday 2nd June 2021 (9am BST):

• You can register for the UCAT after creating a Pearson VUE web account.
• Bursary applications and access arrangements applications open on this date too.
• Test booking doesn't open until 28th June 2021 (9am BST).

‍Monday 26th July 2021 is when it begins:

The testing season starts. Are you prepared? Know exactly what you’re doing? Check out our UCAT Online Course to make sure. Our UCAT Online Course simulates the real UCAT so you won’t feel unfamiliar with the real thing on the big day. The more practice you complete, the better prepared you will be for the real exam.

‍Doors close on Wednesday 22nd September 2021 (12 noon BST):

Last chance to get yourself organised as the following will close:

• Registration
• Online booking 
• Access Arrangements / UCATSEN application deadline

If you miss this deadline you will have to wait until 2022 to book for your UCAT.

‍Last leg on Wednesday 29th September 2021:

This is the very last day you can sit your UCAT. Bursary application is due on this date too (4pm BST).

However, the final booking deadline for registered candidates is a day before this, on 28th September 2021 (12 noon BST).

‍UCAS application deadline Friday 15th October 2021:

UCAS is an organisation that you apply to medical schools through. This is where you will pick what medical schools you’d like to attend, hear back from those medical schools and you will be expected to produce a personal statement of a high standard. This personal statement should include your motivation for studying medicine, reflections on work experience and extra curriculum activities and achievements. ‍Final results in early November:

In most UCAT testing centres you will get a print-out of your scores as soon as you’ve finished sitting the and you’ll be able to access them on your online UCAT Consortium account. However, it won’t be until early November that your final UCAT score will be directly sent to all of your chosen medical schools.
